The aim of this project was to recognize and visualize the most important elements from the street scene in a quick and sketchy way. This is also called the Serial Vision method, an analysis method devised by Gorden Cullen that is important in analyzing cityscapes. This square is an outlet of 8 roads from all directions. There are mostly shops and restaurants around this square. The square occupies a rectangle of approximately 95 by 200 meters but feels more comfortable/smaller scale due to the trees that make the space feel smaller. The difference in color and pattern of the tiling also contributes to the indication of the square and thus tells where one 'should' stay. It is striking that the square is mainly used for a moment of rest. For example, people sit against the fountain, on the benches and next to the statue.
